"Parenting is a dance between making memories and letting go, a delicate balance of holding on and encouraging your child to soar to new heights." — Karen Salmansohn
Our role as parents is to provide our children with roots to be grounded while also wings to fly to find their own path. Parenthood is the most important job we’ll have in our lifetime and the only job without a manual. Being a parent has been one of my greatest joys but also one the hardest jobs I’ve ever had. More times than not we’re equipped with what our parents taught us. We rely on the skills our parents used while they were just doing all they knew with what their parents taught them. In the process we often repeat outdated parenting styles and generational patterns with our changing youth. I’m a believer in learning new ways to teach our children to grow into the healthiest of people. While some stages of parenthood are wonderful and a breeze, others can be more challenging. As a mother and professional working with children for over 20 years, I provide parent trainings as well as parent coaching. It takes a village, I can guide you during those difficult stages.
